I bought this clematis about 5 years ago, unlabelled in Thorncroft's sale, right after Chelsea. It didn't look too happy, but once potted up and given Some TLC, she soon perked up and once flowered I took a blow back to get her identified. Since then she has given me years of wonderful blooms, looks terrific on my patio, and is the envy of my friends. This year, it's clear she needs repotting, so I am planning to put her against the fence in my north facing border, to give the area some colour. This is a wonderful clematis, and I would think is well worth the price tag - although unknowingly I paid just £5.00!! (Posted on 30/04/2017)

Bought from local chain in sale in flower. mildew within a week. Peters plants have all done brilliantly and have been in flower all summer long.
Better reconsider paying more in future.
Thanks for your help Peter. (Posted on 06/10/2014)

I planted this clematis in the autumn of 2011. It is planted on the north side of the wall and I am planning for it to climb though a hole in the wall in order to flower on the south side of the wall. So far it has stubbornly refused to do this.
This summer it is filled with flowers, all on the north side of the wall. I am keeping my hope up for next year! (Posted on 04/06/2014)
