From an abundance of spiky buds, starlike flowers of mauve-blue appear and mature to pale mauvey-blue as they age. A slightly deeper pinky-lavender bar can be seen when they first open but quickly disappears.

Prolific starlike flowers of deep indigo-blue mature to a mid indigo and the central stamens open to reveal white filaments. Long flowering from mid-June to autumn, this is the oldest variety of the SAPHYRA® range.

Abundant fuchsia pink starlike flowers are shown off brilliantly against a bright green foliage. A more natural climber than the other SAPHYRA® cultivars, Nancy will happily climb up a small support, climb a wall trellis or create lovely ground cover. The attractive double blue-purple flowers have a greeny-white tip to the tepals and appear from summer through to autumn. This stunning clematis will light up your patio when grown in a large container with good drainage. 

Clematis terniflora var. mandschurica has large clusters of white star-like flowers that have a good sweet scent. It has a spectacular shiny seed-heads, is an excellent scrambler that we have always enjoyed using in our garden and it is a very low maintenance plant.
