As Featured on the BBC and Launched by Thorncroft Clematis at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2019.  This lovely new clematis was named

The margins of the rounded overlapping tepals are slightly bluey-white with a more creamy-white bar and it has contrasting dark red stamens. The bars of the early flowers can be pale green.

The wonderful light mauvy-blue flowers have pale coffee-coloured anthers. A fabulous old cultivar which, if hard pruned, can be grown in a patio container. Cholmondeley is pronounced Chumley.

The classic pure white blooms have a satin sheen and crown of coffee-coloured stamens. The early blooms are occasionally semi-double.

The deep purply-blue flowers have a purply-cerise bar. A bold, eye-catching family favourite, this was one of the first clematis we ever had growing in our garden.

The early flowers of clematis Multi Blue are of pointed double blooms of light french navy-blue and often the later flowers will have more of a single flower shape and smaller spiky centre.

Striking and exotic flowers of striking candy pink have a narrow dark bar down the centre. Multiple layers make this a fully double spiky bloom that will please the eye of any gardener.

The outstanding pale mauve-pink blooms have light cerise-pink bars and elegant dark red stamens. An old favourite that is perfect for a north wall or to brighten a dull corner.

The glorious rich velvety-red star-shaped flowers have dark purply-red stamens. This would make an eye-catching addition to your garden, or perfect for a container on a patio, or even on a balcony.

Clematis OLYMPIA has superb mid-blue star-shaped flowers which often show a faint rose shading down the centre of the tepals and a crown of cream stamens.

These elegant pinky-white satin-like blooms are outlined around their margins & tips by rich raspberry-pink. This deep colouring covers the whole of their reverse. A crown of raspberry-red stamens completes this fabulous picture.

The glorious blooms have deep purply-red, almost plum coloured bars that merge towards gently undulating mauvy-white margins. At the centre is a lovely crown of blood-red stamens.

The rich mid violet-blue star-shaped flowers have a hint of pink along the central bar when first open and glorious wine-red stamens at the centre. A very compact, free-flowering climber perfect for a pot!

These truly beautiful white star-shaped flowers have a lovely textured surface, crimped, undulating margins & wine-red stamens. The early blooms can have a hint of a pink bar, this gradually fades as they mature.

Clematis patens 'Manshuu Ki' ('Wadas Primrose') When first open the gorgeous primrose-yellow blooms have slightly deeper bars which fade as the flowers mature to pale cream. Its elegant crown of yellow stamens add to its beauty. Lovely!

The handsome flowers first open with pinky-lavender margins that mature to deep lavender-blue. They have rich velvety-red bars and deep red anthers.

The handsome dusky purply-red flowers mature to mauve-red and have a brighter red bar when first open. A very compact, free-flowering climber perfect for a pot!

The sumptuous large flowers are pearly-white at the centre with bright cerise pink margins and pointed tips. A wonderfully eye-catching bloom.

The pretty double, and single, mid mauvy-pink flowers have deep rose-pink bars, irregular white markings and a crown of yellow stamens. The later blooms are always single. Pronounced Pee-loo.

The bright purply-cerise star-shaped blooms merge to pale lilac-mauve bars which are offset by a glorious crown of bright yellow stamens. Some people can detect a slightly spicy scent.

Named to commemorate her birth, clematis Princess Charlotte has double, dahlia-like blooms of mauvey-blue and a subtle pinky-mauve margins. Very pretty indeed.

This extraordinary new clematis has a double purply-red flower head with some light green marking to them. Later flowers are also fully double with more green markings in them. Absolutely gorgeous!
