This outstanding clematis, which was introduced to the UK by Thorncroft Clematis in 2014, has glorious carmine-red flowers which have an amazing crown of contrasting yellow stamens.

Clematis ICE BLUE has magnificent bluish-white flowers with a mauve-blue bar when first open, the later blooms are almost white. The depth of the 'blue' colouration can vary depending on the aspect, weather and soil.

The exceptionally pretty star-shaped flowers are pale lavender and have rich cherry-red bars and a wonderful crown of stamens.

The wonderful rosette-like double blooms are light pink with rich pink marbling that merges towards the rich pink outlined margins. As the blooms mature they become pale pink & later flowers are single.

Clematis ISSEY has very regal flowers of richest true red that are very striking thanks to the crown of white filaments and cream anthers in the centre.

His regal looking blooms have pale grey-blue margins that merge to a white bar and are offset by a crown of wine-red stamens. The early blooms are occasionally semi-double.

The outer layers of these eye-catching early double blooms are bluey-mauve its inner layers are bluey-white. Single blooms are produced in early autumn.

Clematis Josephine has distinctive double, rosette-like blooms that are light mauvy-pink, with deeper pink bars. Best grown in a sunny position, Josephine always produces double blooms, even when hard pruned.

Clematis JULIANE has very pretty pure white flowers that have a cupped shape when first opening and a very rounded tip. White filaments are tipped with reddy-brown anthers.

The attractive velvety looking violet-purple blooms have eye-catching bright purply-red bars.

These charming pale mauve-pink blooms have deep rose-pink running along the bars and around the edges of their gently undulating margins. It sometimes has an added layer of pretty, almost frilly, shorter tepals in the centre.  While most hybrid clematis enjoy a rich soil ensure free draining conditions for this cultivar.

The creamy-white blooms mature to almost pure white and have pinkish-beige stamens. She has an elegance and beauty hard to find in other white clematis.

This stunning bloom opens with a broad rich raspberry-pink margin and veins over a pinky-white base and bar. As the flower matures the pinky-white at the centre becomes more prominent towards its golden stamens.

This luxurious, classy looking pale mauve clematis, produces double, semi-double and single blooms all at the same time, which is quite unique. A family favourite!

The beautiful upward-facing blooms open creamy-white, turning to pure white as they mature and have golden stamens. A beautiful old cultivar from the early 1900's.

The margins of the rounded overlapping tepals are slightly bluey-white with a more creamy-white bar and it has contrasting dark red stamens. The bars of the early flowers can be pale green.

The wonderful light mauvy-blue flowers have pale coffee-coloured anthers. A fabulous old cultivar which, if hard pruned, can be grown in a patio container. Cholmondeley is pronounced Chumley.
