Viticella

The delightful semi-nodding creamy-white flowers mature to pure white and have a lovely crown of contrasting purple stamens. This is a lovely form of viticella and performs vey well in many soil types as well as on Any aspect, so very forgiving in it's nature.

This gorgeous old clematis dates from the 1500's. It's semi-nodding rosette-like double flowers are deep dusky-amethyst which look wonderful against a pale background like a rendered wall or cream or white fence.

The delightful semi-nodding flowers have light purply-red margins that gently merge to white bars. It has distinctive pale green stamens with deep purply-red tips.

The slightly reddy purple blooms have a hint of white at the base of each sepal and almost black anthers. One of the largest blooms in the viticella group and very popular to grow with peach or apricot roses.

The outside of the nodding bell-shaped flowers is pale mauvy-pink with deeper pink margins. The inside has white bars and bright rose pink margins. Excellent for cut flowers and a favourite in our garden!

Pretty and striking flowers of white have a deep purple margin maturing to pale violet purple, borne in great abundance on this strong growing hardy clematis. A wonderful introduction from J van Zoest nursery Holland and introduced to the UK by Thorncroft Clematis at the RHS Chatsworth Flower Show 2017

The dark purple flowers have a slight reddish-purple bar which fades to bluey-purple as the blooms mature. An excellent choice to give later flowers in your garden.

This gorgeous blue clematis opens light azure blue with a hint of pink along the central bar. As the blooms mature they become more mauve-blue, losing the pink tint. An outstanding performer!

The gorgeous white flowers of this new clematis are very deeply textured with crimped, wavy margins & cream anthers. It has been named in honour of Prince George, son of Prince William the Prince of Wales.

This lovely clematis has double dusky-magenta rosette shaped flowers and makes a wonderful sight when in full bloom. These elegant blooms are excellent as cut flowers.

The charming light mauve-pink nodding bell-shaped flowers have paler margins and strongly recurved tips revealing the deep purply-pink inside. Looks stunning growing up through an obelisk. Also good as cut flowers.
